Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So Kailani over at An Island Life thought that on Fridays she would take it easy on posting, and started Aloha Friday. So, for Aloha Friday, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Answer my question and feel free to ask your own question on your blog. Be sure to add your link and checkout other blogs that participate at An Island Life.My kids school provides free breakfast for all students. And with my husbands current work schedule I don’t have the opportunity to cook breakfast for the entire family. So last year I started Breakfast for Dinner Wednesdays. Any breakfast item that someone wants, we cook. My two youngest sons, Denzel aged 13 and Darius aged 11 help out with the cooking. We eat at the table, laugh talk and catch up on our households current events. Each family has to find a way to initiate their own “family time” What works for one family may not work for others, so you have to find what works for your family and Do IT!
So my question this week is: What do you do consistently for “Family Time” with your family?

Eat
Dinner at the table as a family is something we strive to do at least 4-5 nights per week.
We always eat together as a family, and on the weekends we’ll have some sort of family game fun… :)
Angry Bird and McQueen Together at Halloween
We always eat dinner together and talk. Or during breakfast.
Dinner… We also started going for walks!!
Of course dinner with great conversation, but also movie time with popcorn!
We usually turn off the television and just play games together.
I’m sorry to say I don’t have a consistent family thing yet. I try to have all three of us sit down at the table for dinner at least once a week, but my 4yo doesn’t like to sit still for very long. Maybe it will stick more as he gets older.
we have movie nights on weekends and we always eat supper together
