Aloha Friday Welcome to this weeks edition of Aloha Friday! According to Kailani over at An Island Life In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So Kailani decided to take it easy on posting and we did too. Simply answer my question and feel free to ask your own question on your blog.

Homeschool, Private School or Public School?

  1. I went to public school, but I homeschool my three kids. :)

  2. Both my boys and I went to public schools. My husband went to private schools.

  3. Growing up us kids went to a private school. Princess Nagger is currently at a public school. ;)

  4. My husband and I both went to public schools. Our kids do as well. We are pretty happy with our local public schools where we live.

  5. I went to public school.

  6. I am a teacher. I have taught in public and private schools. With that said, I am a believer in public school education since I went through them and did very well. Of course, I am seeing how public schools are being hurt by politics and other issues within our community.

  7. I would have to say public schools. My hubby and I went to public school and so did our daughter. It is good for interaction for adulthood and the real world. Private school would be great if you could afford it.

  8. Public schools seem to have more money to do things and have things.
What you get out of it has a lot to do with what you put into it. I was always volunteering.

    Have a great Friday!

  9. I went to public school and all 4 of my kids go to the same public school system. We are blessed to have one of the best public schools in the state. I have the highest regard for moms who homeschool. I just don’t have the patience to do it :)

  10. I went to public school.

    I wanted to homeschool.

Dh wanted public school. So boy is in public school.

  11. My kids all went to public school, but when I was a kid I went to Catholic Grammar school & one year of Catholic High School, but they got really expensive. & complicated.

  12. If I could afford it, I would choose private school. If I had the patience and could afford it, I might homeschool. My kids, however, attend public school because I have to work full time and I don’t have the $ needed for private. I teach public school, by the way, and if I had a different alternative, I would choose it. I’ve been teaching public school for 23 years, and, my, how things have changed. My kids have 2 and 1/2 years left in public education. They have had great teachers and great schools, but still, if I was able, I would prefer private.

  13. Public school. Can’t afford private school and I know I don’t have the patience to homeschool. It would end up being recess all day! :-)
