  1. I think schools can only police lunches so much. There are many foods that contain nuts that you don’t even know it’s in there. I think parents really need to make sure the child understands what they can and can not have. Most schools already ask parents not to send items with nuts, so there is only so much you can do.

  2. Our school prohibits nuts or any nut products. However, I know that it’s impossible to check what every child brings from home. The school can only do so much.
