Format: Paperback, 295 pages
Summary:
Time has stopped…
…and thirty-year-old Seth Alkirk doesn’t know why. A car accident that should have killed him instead leaves him wandering through a town frozen in time. When a vicious creature attacks and knocks him out, he wakes up in the world of Galadir with an unknown companion, and no memory of how he got there.
Sworn to protect Seth, Malia Corsair believes him to be the last of a race that can control time. She has been tasked with getting him to the safety of Findoor castle. The pair journey towards their goal, plagued by attacks from an evil exiled wizard who is determined to capture Seth and use his power to exact his revenge against Findoor.
When a greater evil is resurrected, all of Galadir turns to Seth. With dark armies invading Findoor, and a portal rupturing out of control, he is their only hope for salvation. As the last Time Weaver, Seth must learn to control his powers and fight back, or watch the whole world fall to ruin.
My Thoughts:
The Time Weaver by Thomas A. Knight is a high fantasy novel based in the land of Galadir where mages, knights and monsters abound in a unique world with unique races. It is the first book in the Time Weaver Chronicles. When I first started reading this book I was really excited. The beginning was very unique and unlike any fantasy I had read before. Unfortunately after the first 60 pages it kind of fell into the typical fantasy category. Not that it wasn’t a good read, it was. I guess because of the originality of the beginning I was a little disappointed.
Thomas A. Knight is a great descriptive writer. I had a very clear image in my mind of what he was describing. His characters were excellent as well. My favorite character Cedric was so mysterious and I like that you are never quite sure what his game is. I really hope that the author has some kind of twist in store for him later in the series.
Whatever I felt about the middle of this book the end is definitely what hooked me. I don’t want to give anything away but I will say there was a great cliffhanger. Needless to say I really want to read the next book in the series.

Sounds like this book is up my alley!!
I like fantasy books, but I know what you mean about some of them getting a little to predictable or just too much like about another dozen books. Thanks for the review.
This book sounds interesting. I have not read any Fantasy books, but this one is intriguing. Thank you for the post, I would not have know about it, otherwise.
I read a lot of fantasy and this sounds like an interesting read. I will have to add it to my list of books to explore. I always hesitate to get into a new series, because I’ve had so many start out great and fall flat as they progressed.
I love to get lost in fantasy novels. The Time Weaver sounds like a book I’d enjoy. I have to read it, as I’m interested in the ending that hooked you. Thanks for the review.
The book sounds like a great read. I prefer fantasy, books that will lift you out of reality and turn things upside down. This fantasy sounds like it might be setting up for multiple books in the series.
This book sounds like a good read. I will definitely be checking into it.
Sounds like a fun read! I like the whole mage thing so this is cool. Thanks for the review! I do like me a good cliffhanger although the waiting sucks.
