Book Review: Two For Eternity

Carl Alves

Two For Eternity by Carl Alves is a unique historical fiction book. The thing that I enjoyed the most was how the author took important moments throughout history, placed the main characters within those times and explained how they affected the outcome. Two For Eternity was very well researched and I found myself intrigued. I really want to know what they would do next.

As far as the main characters go, its your typical good vs evil and I was okay with that. I like that Raiken was good but he wasn’t perfect. He had an understanding of what needed to be done. Vrag was pure evil with no humanity, the only people he cares about are himself and Raiken. I also liked that through time the characters never give up on each other, trying to sway one another to the others side.

The book was written well however there were a few spelling and grammatical errors in it. This only made me slightly crazy and really didn’t take away from the story at all. The other thing I didn’t really care for was the ending. There was no resolution. Unfortunately due to the nature of the book there really can’t be any. I guess to me the story just seemed unfinished.

Overall I really enjoyed this book. If your a fan of historical fiction, you will too!

  2. this sounds like a really intrigiung book! i love historical fiction- while the grammatical errors would bug me, I think I’d still give it a try!

  3. This sounds like it would be completely annoying to me! A bad guy with no depth, spelling and grammar errors that are noticeable, and no way to properly end it! I do not think I’ll be adding this to my library list. Thanks for your honest review.

overlook it for a good story. Katharina
