Some of our best slumber parties have been spa parties, with manicures and pedicures being the main event. The girls watch movies, listen to music, eat snacks, enjoy doing facials, style each other’s hair and of course paint their nails!

Creating an at-home nail salon for a group up girls can take some work. It can be especially difficult when you have to buy matching nail supplies, so that everyone’s happy. There are a few things that are noticed right off the bat. The first is the packaging. It is presented in pink durable case. The cute “buddy” cat pictured on the front immediately catches the eye. The second easy observation is the size of the products. This should come as no surprise but most polishes and nail supplies are too big, and awkward for young kids to hold. This is not the case with the Nail Buddy. Kids can easily file, polish and apply the nail appliques with little to no help from adults.

The lavender polish is kid friendly and goes on smooth. As with most types of water-based nail polish it’s slow to dry, but since it’s safer for little ones that isn’t a big deal. The nail appliques are full of cute flowers, and easy to use. To apply stick on your nails and you’re all set. Then once you’re ready to remove just lift and peel – no nail polish remover needed. It’s easy peasy and really fun! Another big draw for me is the cost: $5.95 for a stocking stuffer, grab bag gift, or to create an at-home nail salon during a slumber party is a sweet deal.

I also received a pack of Little Buddy wipes. These antibacterial wipes work great for cleaning sticky hands and dirty faces, while on the go. They also come in handy when I need to wipe down a cart handle when I’m in the grocery store.
