Balance Bar Mini Energy Bars and Itzy Ritzy Snack Bag

I was asked to do a review for some Balance Bar products and, as I worked with them before to great result, I was thrilled to try out a new product line. This time, they paired up with another company to do a great gift set that included a reusable snack bag.

Both of these statements included in the advertising for the Balance Bar product are entirely true. I loved the taste of both the Brownie and Cookie Dough bars. They did have a little bit of the energy bar taste (the cookie dough more so than the brownie), but it wasn’t overwhelming and didn’t stop me from eating the whole box of them! I’m very picky when it comes to snack bars and I won’t eat an extra healthy one if it doesn’t taste good. These are both delicious and balanced for a perfect snack. The main thing being reviewed here was the mini size since I’ve seen these flavors in stores already. I personally thought the mini bar was the perfect size for a quick snack. I know from experience that sometimes the larger bars can be quite filling and a little too much when you just need a quick bite. I would definitely recommend these.

I was a little skeptical about these bags when I first received them, not going to lie. I’m all about the plastic baggies and, though I try to be eco-friendly where I can be, I’m not obsessed with doing so when it is really inconvenient – I have a 9 month old after all! This bag won me over though. I love the cute pattern and it isn’t hard to clean up at all. The inside has a similar lining to plastic lunch bags so liquids aren’t going to soak through it or anything. It is about the size of a plastic lunch baggie so it is perfect for anything you would want to put into one of those. I would suggest picking up a few though because who only uses one baggie at a time?
