A milkshake is the perfect drink for a hot summer day, so yesterday the kids and I decided to try a new recipe. The kids love peanut butter, bananas and caramel, so I couldn’t resist making them a milkshake that included all of their favorite ingredients. The milkshakes were a huge hit and received 2 thumbs up from everyone. Here’s how to make this quick and delicious afternoon snack or dessert .
- 4 cups chocolate ice cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 bananas
- 2 cups milk
- 3 tablespoons smooth peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons dulce de leche or caramel sauce
- In a blender, combine all of the ingredients.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour into glasses.
- Drizzle with caramel sauce and serve.

Oooh yum, that sounds deeelicious!

Thanks for sharing this recipe. I wish I could tolerate milk because this looks so good! I am pregnant and every time I can’t handle milk or milk products. Makes me so sick to my stomach.
Oh wow! The name of it is long but sounds so decadent and delicious. Can’t wait to blend one up…maybe I’ll even see what other flavors I can add in. : )
Love this recipe!! I’m actually looking for a good strawberry milkshake recipe, something like what Sonic has! Yum!
Thank you for this! I’m totally making this for my husband when he gets home from the Fire Dept in the morning!!!!!
wow this looks so rich!
This milkshake would be a little too rich for my taste but I am sure that this is a recipe that my 21-year old daughter would love to try. :)
