This Caramel Peanut Butter Banana Milkshake has become one of my favorite milkshakes to make for my nieces, nephews and godkids this summer. They love peanut butter, bananas and caramel, so I couldn’t resist making them a milkshake that included a combination of some of their favorite ingredients. These delicious milkshakes were a huge hit and received 2 thumbs up from everyone.

When it comes to ice cream treats on a warm day, milkshakes are the best option because they are portable and not messy like ice cream cones. They are also easier than you might think in your very own kitchen. Here’s how to make this quick and delicious afternoon snack or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups chocolate ice cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 bananas
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 tablespoons smooth peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons dulce de leche or caramel sauce

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth, about 1 minute (depending on the strength of your blender). You want the consistency of the milkshake to be thick and not runny.
  2. Pour the milkshake into two glasses.
  3. Drizzle with caramel sauce and serve immediately.
