Ark Industries was founded in 1995 and offers a unique line of retro inspired clothing and accessories. Their line includes leather jackets, bags, clothing, jewelry. They pride themselves on making fun and lasting products that will be with you for generations.
When I saw the chance to do a review for Ark Clothing I quite literally did a little happy dance in my living room and then spent the better part of an hour trying to decide on which of their awesome bags I would choose. It was no easy feat. They have travel bags, reporter bags, Opa Retro bags, Carry-On Hostess bags, wallets, clutches and laptop sleeves! Ultimately I chose the Pac Man Fever Retro 80′s Bag. This bag is a reporter bag and comes in either brown or black. I chose black.
My first thought when taking it out of the bag was “Wow this is big”. Followed closely by “Wow this is really well made”. I gotta say, this bag looks like it could withstand the worst kind of punishment and still come out on top.
This bag could quite literally be used for anything because its size. It could be used as a carry on when flying, a tote for your electronics (tablet, eBook reader, mp3 player etc…). You know it would probably be a really great diaper bag too. It’s a great size making it very versatile.
The Pac Man bag features a vinyl exterior, including a vinyl strap, and a nylon lining. There are two inside pockets and an outside flap pocket. The strap adjuster is metal as well as the zipper and there are metal studs on the bottom to help it stand and keep its shape.
So what have I been using this bag for? Well, we live in the middle of nowhere and we have to travel a lot to do anything. This bag has been awesome for overnight trips. Toss in my clothes, electronics and accessories, and toiletries and I’m good to go. On longer trips where we have to stay for more than one night I use it for everything but my clothes.
Overall the Pac Man Fever bag by Ark Clothing is awesome. I really have no complaints is awesome. I really have no complaints at all. It’s well made, durable and funky. I love that this bag is gender neutral as well so my husband doesn’t feel awkward carrying it.
