It is starting to warm up around here and what better way to cool off than with a yummy frozen treat! We love frozen treats, so the Minute Maid Juice Bars that I was recently asked to review arrived just in time.
Minute Maid has been a staple in my home even when I was a child. I remember drinking their juices and thinking how amazing that they were. Now Minute Maid has Juice Bars that are just as refreshing and can be a great summertime treat. It doesn’t hurt that they are only forty calories a piece. They are also made out of the 100% juice that Minute Maid is known for, and they have no high fructose corn syrup.
They are made with 100% apple juice, but if you read the label you will see this is from concentrate and there are “other” added natural flavors. So, while they aren’t the healthiest option they are a healthier kid-friendly treat that only have 9 grams of sugar.
Coming in flavors such as Orange, Cherry and Grape, there is a flavor that everyone is sure to love. They have a great refreshing taste and will be sure to cool you down on a summer’s day with some real fruit taste.
I like how there are no sticks. They come in these little triangular shape pouches that you push up as you eat. This is great because you don’t have to worry about your frozen treat falling off a stick if it starts to melt on a particularly hot summer day.
I treated myself to one of the grape juice bars recently, and was surprised by how much I liked it. I’m normally a cherry flavor kind of girl, but the flavor of this bar was so good! It is my favorite of the three. The cherry flavor was also a hit with my family. None of the adults really like the orange one, but my nieces loved it.
Minute Maid Juice Bars are the perfect choice for picnics, BBQs, pool parties, play dates, or for when you want a refreshing treat to help you cool off on a hot day.
They come in packs of 12, and can be found in the frozen section of your local grocery store.
