Many thanks to DataRank and Burt’s Bees for sponsoring today’s post.
As winter approaches, every bit of our skin needs rejuvenation and that includes our lips and hands. Let Burt’s Bees take care of you with their line of products meant to nourish your skin no matter where it may be.
Two products that I always have in my purse are hand cream and lip balm. My lips and hands thirst for moisture during the winter and Burt’s Bees Rejuvenating Lip Balm with Acai Berry and Honey and Grapeseed Hand Cream gives them the love that they need. Both products are nourishing, refreshing and fast-acting when my hands are dry and my lips are chapped.
Burt’s Bees has been a favorite brand of mine for over a decade. This year is their 30th anniversary. And I can’t wait to see what else Burt’s Bees has in store for me going into the future. I love that on average, their products are 99% natural and over half are 100% natural. They contain no parabens, phthalates or petrolatum, and no animal testing. Their products are reasonably priced (for a natural brand), and they actually work.
I love Burt’s Bee’s products so much that they are my go-to stocking stuffer gift every year. So, this year I decided to take it a step further and make a DIY Manicure Kit in a Jar for the ladies at the senior club that I volunteer at.
This gift is perfect for anyone who likes to keep their hands looking pretty! Supplies are easy to find and you don’t have to be very crafty to make it.
Want to make a manicure kit? Great, here is what you will need:
Mason jar (pint size)
Envelope or card stock (to cover lid)
Burt’s Bees products (I used everything in the Tips and Toes Kit, but the foot cream)
Bumble bee printables from Catch My Party (see link)
Download and print the cupcake topper bumble bee printable from the link above. Cut out 2 bees and set aside.
Place the tissue paper inside the jar.
Fill the jar with the nail polish, nail brush, nail clippers, nail file, cuticle pusher and Burt’s Bees products.
Place the lid on an envelope or card stock and trace a circle. Cut out the circle and place on top of the lid.
Place the lid on jar and screw on band. Then add a bee to the center of the lid.
Tie a bow with ribbon around the band, and add remaining bee to the center.
Add a label and your gift is done!
This easy DIY Manicure Kit is a great idea for a spa night, girls sleepover, teacher gift or to give your secret Santa this holiday season.
I could name several Burt’s Bees favorites, how about you? Which Burt’s Bees products do you swear by?
