Today’s story about new Kool-Aid & Country Time products is sponsored by Lunchbox.

I remember the summers of long ago when my mom would get out our plastic pitcher and some of those little Kool-Aid packets to make my friends and I a nice, refreshing cold drink to quench our thirst. I bet you that a lot of my readers also remember that great taste. Thankfully, the great taste of Kool-Aid is still on the market, but things are so much easier than when I was little. Nowadays I serve the younger kids’ summer fruit salads, fruit slushies, and some lemonade when it gets hot and humid.

Tropical Punch Fruit Slushie Recipe

Prep time is so much quicker because I use the Tropical Punch flavored Kool-Aid Easy Mix Liquid as one of the ingredients in my tropical punch fruit slushies and Country Time Lemonade Starter when I need a refreshing beverage to quench my thirst.. What I love about each of these products is that they are available in a variety of flavors. The Kool-Aid Easy Mix Liquid is pre-sweetened, contains no caffeine, and makes 6 quarts of liquid. The Country Time Lemonade Starter contains no caffeine, is flavored with real lemon juice, and is low in calories.

Now that the warmer weather has arrived I plan on heading over to Walmart to replenish my stock of Kool-Aid Easy Mix Liquid, as well as the Country Time Lemonade Starter. I have company coming over for a backyard barbecue and will serve the tropical punch fruit slushies to the kids and I am sure that all of us will enjoy the varieties of lemonade.

Here is the recipe that I used to make the slushies. Perhaps you would like to make them for your family.
