Brushing teeth can be a huge struggle in my house with two little ones who don’t quite understand the importance of a clean mouth. It only gets worse when you are dealing with a toothpaste that the kids don’t enjoy. The best solution for me is to find a tooth paste with a good flavor and to make brushing their teeth a fun activity in any way possible.
Xlear took that exact idea of fun and good taste and combined it to create the Baby Banana Brush and Kids Spry Tooth Gel Set. I was offered an opportunity to try out this product with my kids and jumped at the chance.
The Baby Banana Brush is marketed towards kids a little younger than my two, who are 3 years and just under 2 year, but it didn’t stop my kids from enjoying having it around for brushing time. As they both have teeth, the Banana Brush is not really effective for cleaning their mouths, but I remember using the finger tip gum cleansers when they were younger and I can say I 100% prefer this brush over that alternative. My kids liked to bite and the Baby Banana Brush would have helped me keep my actual fingers out of their mouth!
The Tooth Gel was a major hit at our house as well. We have a few different bottles of tooth paste/gel in our house at the moment and my son currently always asks me for the yellow bottle – which is, of course, the Kids Spry Tooth Gel. After tasting a slight amount of the gel myself, I definitely don’t blame him for asking for this product. It has a much more enjoyable flavor than many other tooth brushing products on the market today. I also truly feel like this product does its job of cleaning and protecting their teeth well.
The Baby Banana Brush & Kids Spry Tooth Gel Set can be picked up from xlear.com for $13.99 or found local to you through their store locator link. They have a variety of other products available for both children and adults on their site as well. I have previously reviewed their Sparx Candy line, which was also a hit with my family.
I would definitely recommend this product and its respective line for anyone with small children. I believe it can be very helpful for encouraging young children to brush like it has for mine.
