When I started out my new year in 2015, I did so with the goal of finally getting back on track with healthy eating and being more conscious of my lifestyle. This is a resolution that I know a lot of people make each year but along the way they lose sight of their goal and often end up back at square one. I myself have found myself in the same position year after year but finally, this year, I’ve made progress that I can be pleased with. While I may not have lost the ideal weight goal that I originally set for myself, I have been able to change my eating habits and learn healthier habits to implement in place of some of the bad ones I’ve picked up over the years. I’ve been able to do this with the help of products like the Atkins Harvest Trail Bars.
I was recently chosen to partner with Atkins to review their new products and was sent each of their four flavors to try. These delicious bars are Atkins first non-weight loss bars but still hold true to the Atkins mission of low-carb dieting. I would love to share my experience with my readers so they might be tempted to give these yummy treats a try for themselves.
Atkins Harvest Trail Bars
The Atkins Dark Chocolate Cherry and Nuts are a fabulous treat to snack on when hunger strikes. With their simple and nutritious ingredients, these bars give the consumer the goodness of protein and fiber while keep net carbs and sugars in check. Each box contains 4 or 5 bars, you can choose the count that works for you, that will help sustain you whether you’re at home, in the office or on the go.
The Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter is perfect for anyone who loves both peanut butter and dark chocolate but often find themselves trying to choose between the two. With these nutritious peanut butter bars, you don’t have to choose – you can have them both!
The Dark Chocolate Caramel Sea Salt boast a whole 9g of fiber, 1g of sugar, 8g of protein and 4g of net carbs. If you’re looking for the perfect snack that will indulge your sweet tooth without causing you to topple off of the wagon then this is it.
If you’re a lover of all things vanilla then the Vanilla Fruit and Nut Bar is the option for you. Like it’s predecessors this bar is high in fiber and low in sugars and carbs so you can snack in confidence without sacrificing the ground you’ve gained during your diet.
My personal favorite of the four new bars is the Vanilla Fruit and Nut Bar. It is oh so yummy and perfect for snacking on the go. I will definitely be picking up a box or two for my whole family to enjoy.
