My Thoughts
I’m not usually one for short stories. I usually find them to be well, short. Usually one to pick up an Epic Fantasy series I wasn’t sure what to think when I chose this book. If anything I guess I figured it would be a quick and easy read that I could knock off in an afternoon. Well I have to say that I was more than pleasantly surprised and Transcendent more than exceeded my expectations. I really enjoyed this collection of paranormal tales.

The authors all had the same writing style but still added their own flare to their stories. Each story had its own unique element. I would love to say that I had a favorite story but the truth is that they were all very good. Each story was 20 – 30 pages long so it took me no time at all to read the collection. I found myself trying to sneak a story in every spare moment I had.

Overall this collection is a light easy read, and I would recommend them to anyone 14 years and up. I would say younger but there were a few parts that were a little chilling. Otherwise the content was something that any teen or adult who enjoys tales of the paranormal (with a little bit of young love) would like.

Comments

  1. I saw so many books that gathered more authors under the same title, yet I never had the opportunity to read one. I would love to try this one. It sounds just as my kind of reading. And thank you, is the first time I’ve heard about it. :)
