Today’s post is brought to you by UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation (UHCCF).
Did you know that laughter is good for you? According to Web MD, laughter does a lot for your body. Laughter has the same benefits as working out (now those are some serious benefits). Laughing boosts your heart rate and just makes you feel great! When I was a kid, I loved to tell jokes. One of my favorite corny jokes was–
(Repeat ten times)
Orange you glad I didn’t said banana?”
I mean sure it’s corny now, but it sure did make me laugh back in the day! I also love hearing jokes from my nieces, nephews and godkids, they all make me belly laugh.
New Children’s Joke Books from UHCCF
If there are two things that we need more of in this world, it is laughter and money to help families who are dealing with a medical crisis. Well, my readers and I are both in luck because UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation (UHCCF) has collected knock-knock jokes and riddles for two new joke books available and they were released on World Smile Day.
The jokes are hilarious (you have to experience them for yourself), but they’re also serving a purpose. Millions of families are burdened with medical debt each year and UHCCF has made it their mission to help fund child medical grants for families in need.
The proceeds from the sales of these books will help to fund these child medical grants given by UHCCF. Since 2007, UHCCF has funded more than 10,000 medical grants totaling more than $29 million.
Little Book – Big Laughs Riddle Book and Little Book – Big Laughs Knock-Knock Book have more than 350 knock-knock jokes and around 500 riddles. All submitted by kids and for kids! People of all ages will enjoy these funny jokes, I know I did (but, as you already know I’m a sucker for a good corny joke)! Here’s one of my favorite jokes from the books-
Norma Lee who?
Norma Lee I don’t go around knocking on doors, but I just had to meet you
In addition to the joke books, UHCCF publishes and sells the award-winning Oliver & Hope’s storybooks, along with other fun child toys and products; all available at Amazon. UHCCF recently added two more characters to the Oliver & Hope™ series of super-soft stuffed toys – Charlotte the fox and Hugo the dragon. Proceeds from the books and toys help fund UHCCF child medical grants.
