If you never attended a block party before, this is the perfect opportunity! The event starts at 3 PM and concludes with a firework extravaganza at 9 PM high above Downtown LA, which will create a stunning backdrop above the Civic Center skyline. Factor in tons of delicious food and great music and it really is the place to be. This is a free event. Pets welcome. No alcohol allowed. Learn more:

Exposition Park Community Festival & Fireworks Show
This family friendly picnic style event will be held on the South Lawn at Exposition Park. Enjoy live music, games, and activities for the kids, food and a fireworks show on Wednesday, July 4 from 11 AM – 10 PM. Fireworks will begin at 9 PM. This is a free event. Kaboom! Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular at the Pomona Fairplex
Gather your friends and family on Wednesday, July 4th and enjoy a night at Fairplex! This annual celebration features motocross, monster trucks and quad wars, followed by a fireworks spectacular. Pre-Show starts at 5 PM and the Main Event starts at 8 PM. Tickets to see the Monster trucks, big air freestyle motocross, and fireworks presentation are $27.50 for reserved box seating; $22 for trackside seating and $18.50 for general admission. Fireworks at the Dodger’s Game
Do you love baseball? If so, head on out to Dodger Stadium on July 3rd or July 4th for a great game and a patriotic fireworks display. What better way to celebrate America’s birthday than with baseball and fireworks? As of this writing, tickets for both games are still available. Another great option for fireworks in and around Los Angeles is the Americafest celebration at the Rose Bowl. Doors open at 2 PM and the fireworks start at 9 PM. In between, there’s food, a family fun Zone with inflatable rides, games, and crafts for the kids, live music and a Michael Jackson tribute. While you’re there, why not have your own tailgate party? YUM! For General Admission, the price is $15.00, and children 5 and under are free. For Reserved Seating, the price is $30.00 and children 2 and under are free. Parking for the day is $20. You may not automatically think of attending a Fourth of July celebration at a cemetery. But, the celebration at Hollywood Forever is worth your consideration.
