No Bake Reese’s Peanut Butter Cheesecake

If you have a sweet tooth like I do then you know the struggle that comes with trying to find the perfect sweet treat to cure it. Sometimes all it takes is a glass of soda but sometimes you can raid your entire refrigerator and not find what you’re looking for. Chocolate, snack cakes, gum, candies, these are all the normal ways I’ve used to cure my cravings in the past but recently I tried this recipe for No Bake Reese’s Peanut Butter Cheesecake with Oreo Crust and was blown away. It has not one but two of my favorite sweet treats in the mix and since it’s a no bake recipe, it’s a cinch to make, anytime you feel those cravings coming on.

This cheesecake is smooth, creamy and a peanut butter lovers dream! And it’s super simple to make and requires no baking.

No Bake Reese’s Peanut Butter Cheesecake


For the crust:

20 Oreo Cookies
2 tablespoons of melted butter

For the filling:

1 cup Reese’s peanut butter (or what ever kind you have)
8 ounce package of cream cheese, room temperature
1 1/2 cup confectioner sugar
8 ounce whipped topping (Cool Whip) or homemade whipped cream, thawed

For the topping:

4-6 Reese’s peanut butter cups, chopped
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted


For the crust:

1. Put Reese’s cups in freezer for 15-20 minutes to harden.

2. Crush Oreos in a food processor and add the melted butter.

3. Press crumbs into the bottom and halfway up the sides of a 9-inch springform pan. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm.

4. With a knife chop peanut butter cups into pieces. Refrigerate until ready to use.

For the filling:

1. In a large bowl mix the peanut butter, sugar and cream cheese until smooth and well combined.

2. Fold in the whipped topping and mix until well combined.

3. Pour the filling into the prepared chilled crust and spread evenly.

4. Refrigerate for 6 to 8 hours or until firm.

5. Place chocolate chips in a small microwave safe bowl. Microwave on medium for 10-15 seconds and then stir. If necessary, microwave for an additional 10-15 seconds or until chocolate is melted and smooth.

6. Remove cheesecake from springform pan.

7. Garnish cheesecake with chopped Reese’s and chocolate drizzle with melted chocolate.

8. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

  • Fold in additional frozen peanut butter cup pieces into the filling before pouring into crust if you want your cheesecake more PEANUTTY.
  • Use chocolate sauce instead of milk chocolate chips.
  • Cover and refrigerate any leftover cheesecake.
