Secret Millionaires Club Volume 2 DVD

I believe it’s never too early to start teaching kids about making smart choices with money. Everyone needs to know the value of a dollar. And the sooner kids learn how to make a budget, save and spend responsibly the better off he or she will be. So, when I was given the opportunity to review the Secret Millionaires Club Volume 2 with my family, I figured it would be fun yet educational to watch.

Secret Millionaires Club Volume 2

Secret Millionaires Club Volume 2:

“Blast off with the business-savvy group of friends as they put on their astronaut suits and go on a space-filled adventure! This out-of–this world animated TV series, Secret Millionaires Club: Volume Two, is now available on DVD from Gaiam Vivendi Entertainment and A Squared Entertainment. With money guru Warren Buffett as their mentor, Radley discovers that his passion for space can help others, Elena, Jones and Lisa learn that in business it’s always good to know your competition and they learn about the value of loyal customers.”

Secret Millionaires Club Volume 2

I love it when my family watches a show, movie or in this case an animated series and we learn something new. The Secret Millionaires Club did just that. The animated series teaches kids valuable lessons about making plans, growing your business and money management.

The Secret Millionaires Club Volume 2 DVD runs for about 132 minutes. There are six episodes on the DVD, and I like how each episode featured someone who needed help with a different aspect of their business. Although Mr. Buffett was there to guide the kids with his business advice, I really like how the kids figured out most things on their own by thinking and planning ahead.

The Secret Millionaires Club Volume 2 is more educational than fun, so a lot of it went over the younger kids head. They had some difficulty figuring out the lessons. If the robot wasn’t doing something silly they lost interest. To help with that we only watched 2 episodes a day. I also found that taking a break in between each episode, and discussing what it was about helped keep the younger kids interested longer.

Although the younger (ages 5 & 7) kids didn’t enjoy it as much as the rest of the family, I definitely think the DVD is worth watching at least once. The concept is wonderful and it’s a great way for kids to learn valuable business and financial lessons. The Secret Millionaires Club Volume 2 DVD is also helpful in reminding both kids and adults that the best investment they can make is in themselves.

I would definitely recommend the Secret Millionaires Club to anyone wanting to introduce their kids to business and financial lessons.

  1. Wow! This is really neat! I’ve never seen anything like this for kids. I haven’t started teaching my son about money yet, because he’s only 16 months, but I will definitely when he’s a little older.

This sounds great for my 10 & 13 year old who both have a dog walking job where they earn a little extra cash. It’s important for them to learn how important it is to spend their money wisely or invest/save it. Great review!

  8. Warren Buffett–hum–well at least that man really knows what he is doing! This deos sound like a great way to teach kids about money and financial matters but definitely sounds like it should be teenagers and up for them to really comprehend!

Wow! Sounds like something helpful for my kids to watch when they get a little bit older. My husband is into stock market and I told him he has to teach our son about the stock market when he is old enough and so he can start investing. Thanks for sharing this one.

  11. I definitely agree with you. We are teaching our kids about wise spending and saving money as well.
